Why patients choose us
Our Provo office sits at 1355 North University Ave, Suite 130 — an easy stop for BYU students and staff, and a short drive from Orem, Springville and Lindon.
Samples taken in Provo go to our own lab, where Dr. Michael Peterson, board-certified in dermatopathology, can examine them. You aren’t waiting on a lab you’ve never heard of.
Skin cancer excision, mole and cyst removal and scar revision are done right in the office under local numbing, and certain skin cancers can be treated with no surgery at all.

Acne is the reason many students first walk into our Provo office, but we treat the full range of skin conditions: eczema that flares in dry Utah winters, psoriasis, unexplained rashes, hair loss and warts. When the diagnosis isn’t obvious, a biopsy or patch test settles it, so you aren’t cycling through creams.

Utah County’s altitude and outdoor lifestyle add up to a lot of sun. Our Provo team checks changing moles and suspicious spots, biopsies them, and removes skin cancers in the office. For certain basal and squamous cell cancers, Image-Guided SRT offers a non-surgical option.
